How many of you keep a home inventory list?
Many people don't think about creating one list until it's too late. If anything were to happen to your home (e.i. fire, flood, burglary), it is likely that your insurance company will ask for an inventory of everything that was taken or destroyed. Having an up-to-date home inventory list already on hand will definitely save you a few headaches.
It's a good idea to keep a copy of your home inventory list in a safe deposit box as well as a few copies outside the home (safe deposit box at your bank, at a relatives house, or use a trusted online program).
